Paul Wilson, Head of Sino-GB Relations at Activate Learning, is visiting Shenzhen Polytechnic this week as part of a wider trip to meet with prospective partners in the city of Shenzhen, China.
He met with the delegates who attended a professional development programme delivered in Oxford by Mara Simmons and Sian Cabrera in December 2016. They gave highly positive feedback from the programme.
Paul continued discussions about wider collaboration with Shenzhen Polytechnic with Professor Zhao, Director of the International Office, and other senior colleagues.
During his trip, Paul presented a hand-made wooden box, handmade in the Rycotewood Furniture Centre by Activate Learning Furniture students, which perfectly showcased our students' highly developed craftmanship skills. In return, Paul received a set of figures designed and made by Shenzhen Polytechnic students.
