This week saw the beginning of an exciting new strategic partnership between Activate Learning and top French Business School EM Normandie.
Developments this summer have included the refitting of large lecture rooms, offices and break out spaces ahead of the new semester. Earlier this week, EM Normandie held an Academic Year Opening Ceremony in our theatre. Speakers included: Hendrik Lohse (EM Normandie Campus Director), Councillor Jean Fooks (Lord Mayor of Oxford), Niko Phillips Activate Learning Group Director - International, representatives from the French Chamber of Commerce London office, and EM Normandie staff.
EM Normadie have welcomed around 90 students to our City of Oxford College campus this year, ranging from second year undergraduates to final year Masters students. This number is set to increase in 2018/19.
Niko Phillips in his speech drew comparisons between the two organisations’ ethos, vision and commitment to Internationalisation. Paul Wilson, Head of Sino-GB Relations, commented: ‘Having a prestigious French business school within our campus provides a tangible example of our desire to internationalise and build long-term partnerships, as well as adding an international flavour to campus life.’
