By working with businesses, we aim to better meet local skills needs, improve employment outcomes and generate economic prosperity and growth.
We are working closely with employer partners to help students develop skills and attitudes to help them develop successful careers.
We are listening to employers’ needs through a range of advisory boards and forums. This helps us to promote and develop the exact qualities which employers are looking for:
- First-class customer service skills
- Commercial acumen
- Appropriate risk taking
- Problem solving skills
Our work with businesses includes a successful apprenticeship programme and workplace training. These programmes are co-created with the employer, ensuring that solutions are right for the business and their employees.
